Job description

Are you our next Captain in Brussels?

Are you ready for a role as Captain at Transavia? Are you passionate about flying and enjoy working for an airline where colleagues truly support one another? Then we would love to get to know you. For our new base in Brussels, we are looking for experienced Boeing 737NG Captains.

As of this year, Transavia is expanding with a new home base in Brussels, alongside Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven. As a Captain, you will be part of the team building this base from day one. You will operate the Boeing 737NG and, in the coming years, we will transition to the Airbus A321neo. Of course, you will receive full conversion training for the A321neo.

What are your duties?

During the start-up phase of our Brussels base, you will work with a team of approximately 60 pilots, a close-knit and professional group, carefully selected based on experience, responsibility and a hands-on mentality.

As a Captain, you are responsible for the safety and efficiency of our challenging flight operations. Together with your crew, you ensure a safe and smooth operation while creating a professional and pleasant atmosphere on board. You combine technical expertise with a pragmatic mindset and naturally inspire colleagues through your approach and way of working.

You will operate a wide range of European destinations, from sunny islands to busy metropolitan airports. The diversity in routes, weather conditions and airports keeps every operation dynamic and engaging. It requires focus, experience and teamwork, exactly what motivates you.
